New month, new product updates! As ever, our goal is to make your Wrapbook experience a delightful one. Find out how we’ve been updating our platform to improve your payroll, production accounting, and cost tracking processes.

Improved work location flexibility

Adding work locations to a project is easier than ever. Even without the full address of your shooting location, you can set up your project. Simply input the city, state, and zip code of the shooting location to get started.

Reduce manual data entry time

Pulling your hair out over manual data entry? Reduce the hassle (and key strokes) with recent updates to production accounting in Wrapbook:

  • Fringe Mapping: Fringes can now be coded automatically when processing timecards and expenses, eliminating the need to assign fringe codes by hand. Talk to your Customer Success Manager to create your custom fringe rules in Wrapbook.
  • Cost Code Report Tags: The Cost Code Report now includes worker tags. This way, you can review tags on payroll batches before they’re run—instead of just after.

Avoid & quickly correct accounting errors

  • Timecard & Expenses Tags: When department heads, payroll accountants, or production accountants review timecards and expenses, they now can review and edit account codes directly on the timecard. This helps ensure that account coding is correct before the timecard is approved and reduces account coding errors in payroll transactions.
  • Void and Cancel/Reissue AP: Mistakes happen! Now if you need to void and cancel an AP, you can do it directly from the Paid invoices tab on the Vendor payments screen. You can then reissue it from the same place.

Manually entering data into your accounting software can be frustrating and time-consuming. That's why we've expanded our smart copy-paste feature on POs. Simply copy and paste your PO data into Wrapbook and watch as your information automatically populates the lines of the PO.
