Through this initiative, we are able to provide a secure and standardized report for our clients and their agency partners. For a detailed look at what this report looks like, head over to our article that breaks down what cast and crew see when presented with the demographic survey and how the information collected is shown to producers.

On-demand payroll, concierge support. Here’s how Wrapbook compares with CAPS.
AICP first launched its Demographic Reporting initiative three years ago in August 2021.
The goal? To create a standardized, effective, and legal way for payroll companies to report employment demographic data that can be given to advertising agencies, brands, and marketers should they ask for it.
Last month, AICP updated its initiative with additional categories to further define the diversity of cast and crew on commercial sets.
When AICP first launched its Demographic Reporting initiative in 2021, it was a voluntary and anonymous initiative to give requesting advertising agencies, brands, and marketers a sense of the diversity of those working on their commercials.
It remains both voluntary and anonymous today. However, with the newly expanded initiative, those requesting this information can see in even greater detail the diversity of their commercial sets.
The 2.0 version of AICP’s Demographic Reporting includes an extended list of gender identity categories. It also now has a section for those filling out the questionnaire to include their veteran status should they choose to do so.
