What else is new in February?

Our new ACA benefits solution is just the beginning. February brings even more updates to help production teams work smarter, including:

Easy project duplication

Speed up project creation by duplicating existing projects. Simply find the project you want to copy in the All Projects Dashboard, click the three-dot menu, and select “Duplicate.”

• Key project details are copied over, including workers’ comp, union settings, payroll, paid sick leave, and accounting settings
• Save time by using existing projects as templates
• Minimize data entry for similar or recurring projects

Fully customizable org structures

Fully customizable org structures let you streamline management across all business units and production entities. Set granular access controls and assign users to specific projects—all from one account.

• Create org units and assign projects to them to control who has access to what projects in Wrapbook
• Add your production entities to your account and decide the entity through which to process payroll
• Manage multiple production entities via a single platform while maintaining a clear organizational structure and staying compliant

Updated Cost & Trial Balance Reports

‍For Production Accounting Suite Only

‍The Cost Report and Trial Balance Report have been updated for projects using Production Accounting with:

• New filters to run the reports by period or effective date range and filter by location, production, set, and free field tags
• The ability to run the Cost Report for one or multiple budgets
• New reporting options like show/hiding $0 account balances, variances, and export options 

New AI-powered filtering tools in the General Ledger

For Production Accounting Suite Only

Now you can leverage AI within the General Ledger reporting page to get the insights you need, fast, when asking simple questions: 

• Type questions in plain English to instantly filter reports, then confirm or refine your filters to source exactly the information you need
• AI only uses existing data in Wrapbook and neither stores data nor uses it to train third-party models
• Ask questions such as “show me all my expenses from January to March over $5,000” or “show me my open POs” to access your data without manually filtering

Additional updates

Some small enhancements we’ve released this past month:

• Customers using Wrapbook’s cost tracking solution can now export their Cost Report as a .csv from the Budget Tracker page
• Now when adding locations to a project, all you need to know is the location’s city and state! You no longer need to know the full address of the shooting location, helping you get set up faster with less information
